SCOTTISH CHAMPIONSHIPS |
![]() |
|
Assistant Instructor Carl Rudolf brought home a hard fought Silver medal from the Scottish Championships held in East Kilbride on 9th September 2006. Carl was competing in the Men's Black Belt, Heavy Weight Division, as there was no Cadet Division at this competition. Carl won his first three fights and was only defeated in the final. It didn't help that he had picked up an injury in the semi final and fought the final with a suspected broken rib! |
SUMMER TRAINING CAMP
|
Instructor Karen Rudolf and assistant Rebecca Rudolf both attended Summer Training Camp in Pwllheli, North Wales. Summer Training Camp is a chance to train with people from other Tae Kwon Schools across the region. The summer Training Camp is organised by Mr Richard Saunders 5th Dan, Chief Instructor of Wirral & Chester Schools of Tae kwon. There is always a good training and social programme organised. This year was no exception. The Saturday training session was held by Mr Ron Sergiew 7th Dan and TAGB committee member. |

ELLESMERE PORT GRADING
Due to holidays several students missed the grading in Helsby back in August. Therefore for the first time we had six students travel to Ellesmere Port to be graded. The gradings at Ellesmere port are usually big affairs, often with over a hundred students grading! This one was no exception, and added to the nerves that our students were already experiencing. However they needn't have worried as they all passed.
Congratulations and very well done to all of them.

MALPAS TAE KWON DO SCHOOL OPENS!
|
Students from both Whitchurch and Oswestry Tae Kwon Do
Schools put on a demonstration lesson at Bishop Heber High School in Malpas
on the 28th September 2006. This was to promote the opening of Malpas
Tae Kwon Do the following week. There was a fantastic turn out of both
students and spectators. Malpas Tae Kwon Do School gives existing students the opportunity to train more often and makes tae kwon do available to a whole new audience in Malpas. I hope that you will all support us with this new venture and help Malpas Tae Kwon Do school grow into another successful school. |
