OCTOBER NEWS

CHARITY FIGHT NIGHT

Tranmere Rovers Football Club's sports arena was the venue for a Charity Fight Night in aid of Clatterbridge Cancer Research.

The competition was organised by Richard Saunders’ Schools of Tae kwon do.  This was a team event  with one ring hosting the 24 teams that took part. So every competitor had their moment in the spotlight. The teams consisted of junior and senior teams, with both coloured belt and black belt divisions.

Although none of our own students took part Assistant Instructor Carl Rudolf and assistant Rebecca Rudolf both competed.  Rebecca was in the girls black belt team for Ellesmere Port Tae Kwon Do school.  Rebecca and her team were placed second.

Carl's team was the men's Black belt team for Ellesmere Port.  They saw off the North Wales team to fight in the final where they met Wirral & Chester Tae Kwon do school.  The final saw some tough fights but the Ellesmere Port team were victorious and took first place.

Congratulations to Carl and Rebecca and their fellow team members for their success's. A big congratulations and thanks should also go to Richard Saunders for organising the event and raising £3150 for Clatterbridge Cancer Research.
