BLACK BELT GRADING
Peter and Rebecca Rudolf travelled to TAGB headquarters at The Bristol Academy, for their 2nd Dan gradings on 20th April. Both were successful in gaining promotion to 2nd Dan.
The Grading panel was made up of the TAGB's Highest ranking Committee members, Master Dave Oliver 7th Dan, Master Mike Dew 7th Dan, Master Ron Sergiew 7th Dan, Master Kenny Walton 7th Dan, and Master Paul Donnelly 7th Dan.
As a junior Rebecca has had to wait four years to be eligible to take her Second Dan grading. This is double the time that adult black belts have to wait. A true display of perseverance!
First Dans from all over the
country gathered on the Thursday morning to take part in the grading,
there were nearly 100 First Dan students alone. The Second Dans and above had
their gradings on the Thursday afternoon, whilst the First Kups were graded on
the Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
Peter and Rebecca were awarded their 2nd Dan Certificates By Mr Brian Towndorw 6th Degree Black Belt, at the Black Belt training session in Derby on 14th May.
